We are pleased to inform you that MTCC will be organising the above training course for CoC auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers of certification bodies under the MTCS. This training is conducted to fulfill the training requirement as stipulated in the PEFC ST 2003:2020 as follows:
– para 6.1.2.1 – “The certification body shall ensure that qualified reviewers, certification decision makers and auditors, every two calendar years, have participated in a refresher training in chain of custody of forest and tree based products that is recognised by the PEFC Council.”
– para 6.1.1.4.3 – “The certification body shall ensure that the reviewer and certification decision-maker have received initial training on the PEFC system and the Chain of Custody standard, that is recognised by the PEFC Council.”
The two-day training course will be held as follows:
Date : 14 – 15 October
Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Venue: Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur
A course fee of RM1,500.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: One Thousand Five Hundred Only) will be charged per participant to cover the cost of professional fees, lunch, tea breaks and training materials. Payment should be made payable to ‘Malaysian Timber Certification Council’ as per detail below:
