Trademark
The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) label is recognised globally as a mark of responsible forest sourcing.
Use it to communicate your commitment to sustainable forest management and apply here for your PEFC Trademarks Usage Licence.
The PEFC logo and the PEFC initials are copyrighted material and are internationally registered trademarks owned by the PEFC Council. Unauthorised use of this copyrighted material is prohibited and may lead to legal action.
To use the PEFC label for your certified products, operations, or promotional purposes, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Check your User Classification
Please ensure you fall under one of the following PEFC Trademarks User Classifications:
| Group | Who Can Apply | Where To Apply |

| A | PEFC National Governing Bodies and PEFC authorised bodies, permitted to use the PEFC trademarks for off-product purposes only. In Malaysia, MTCC is the PEFC authorised body. | |
| B | Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) Certificate Holders: entities holding a valid PEFC recognised forest management certificate, authorised to use the PEFC trademarks for off-product purposes. | |
| C | Chain of Custody (COC) Certificate Holders: entities holding a valid PEFC recognised chain of custody certificate, authorised to use the PEFC trademarks for both on-product and off-product purposes. | |
| D | Other Users: organisations not classified under Groups A, B or C, including trade and industry associations, retailers, research and educational institutions, certification bodies, accreditation bodies, governmental organisations and NGOs. Authorised for off-product purposes only. |
