MTCC is pleased to announce that the Melatai-Para Forest Management Unit (FMU) has been awarded the Certificate for Forest Management (Natural Forest) on 27 November 2019 following a successful certification audit conducted by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd. The Certificate is valid for five years, subject to continued compliance based on yearly surveillance audits.
Located in the upper reaches of Batang Baleh, central Sarawak, the FMU managed by Solid Hartabina Sdn Bhd covers an area of 49,524 ha and is entirely within the Heart of Borneo (HoB) project area.
