Dear Member of the Public / Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS) Stakeholder,
Following the initial announcement dated 2 May 2025, The Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC) wishes to inform that the public consultation period for the draft MTCS GD 3003:2025 Complaint Handling and Dispute Resolution Mechanism – originally scheduled to close on 31 May 2025 has been extended until 30 June 2025 (Monday).
This extension is provided to allow more time for stakeholders to review the document and submit their feedback, ensuring inclusive participation and a more robust, transparent mechanism. As previously shared, the draft document seeks to improve the structure, clarity, and responsiveness of the current complaint handling process, MTCS GD 3003:2025 and will replace the existing MTCS GD 3003:2023 upon finalisation.
Your feedback is crucial in shaping a more effective and accessible complaint mechanism. All submissions will be kept confidential and used solely for improving the guidance document.
