MTCC is pleased to announce that Danum Forest Management Unit (Danum FMU) managed by Shin Yang Sdn Bhd has been awarded the Certificate for Forest Management (Natural Forest) on 8 August 2020. The certificate is valid for five years, subject to continued compliance based on yearly surveillance audits. The Certification audit was conducted by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd from 11 to 16 November 2019.
Covering an area of 200,383 ha within the Heart of Borneo (HOB), Danum FMU is located at the upper Sg. Murum area in Kapit district.
