Dear MTCS chain of custody certificate holders,
2. This is to inform you that the Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC) will be organising a briefing session for PEFC Chain of Custody (CoC) certificate holders under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS).
3. This briefing session aims to provide an update for the PEFC CoC certificate holders on the current status of MTCS implementation and the PEFC CoC 2020 Standards. Additionally, MTCC will also share the current action taken by the PEFC to address the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This session will also include an open forum for CoC holders to address concerns, pose questions, and provide comments or feedback to MTCC, which will be subsequently communicated to PEFC.
4. In relation to the above, MTCC would like to invite your Management Representative (MR) or the person in charge of the implementation of the CoC system in your company to attend the briefing session, which will be held as follows:
