MTCC is pleased to announce that following successful certification audit conducted in 2019 by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd, the Gaat-Mengiong Forest Management Unit (FMU) under Billion Venture Sdn Bhd and Entulu Melatai FMU under Interglobal Empire Sdn Bhd have been awarded the Certificate for Forest Management (Natural Forest) on 9 July 2020 and 23 July 2020, respectively. The certificates are valid for five years, subject to continued compliance based on yearly surveillance audits.
Gaat-Mengiong FMU is located in Kapit district and covers an area of 66,190 ha while the Entulu-Melatai FMU is located at the upper reaches of Entulu and Entuloh river covering an area of 55,112 ha. Both FMUs are located within the Heart of Borneo (HOB).
