Located in Limbang Division of Sarawak, Ravenscourt Forest Management Unit (FMU) becomes the first Forest Reserve located in the Heart of Borneo (HoB) to be certified under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS).
The Certificate for Forest Management (Natural Forest) was awarded to Ravenscourt Sdn Bhd by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd on 4 June 2018, with a validity of 3 years.
The effort by Ravenscourt Sdn Bhd is commendable and in line with the aspiration of the state government of Sarawak to implement forest management certification for all its long-term timber concession areas by 2022.
