MTCC congratulates the Pasin Forest Management Unit (FMU) on being awarded the Certificate for Forest Management (Natural Forest) under the Malaysian Timber CertificationScheme (MTCS) on 16 March 2020. The certificate was awarded by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd following successful certification audit and is valid for five years, subject to continued compliance based on yearly surveillance audits.
The Pasin FMU which covers an area of 132,151 ha is the third FMU under the Ta Ann Group to be certified under the MTCS and is located within the Heart of Borneo (HoB) in the Song district of Sarawak.
