MTCC will be organising a webinar to introduce the new MC&I Sustainable Forest Management standard and its requirements on 21 July 2020 (Tuesday) from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm on Zoom.
The MC&I Sustainable Forest Management (MC&I SFM) which is the outcome of the review of MC&I(Natural Forest) incorporating requirements from MC&I Forest Plantation.v2 was approved on 5 March 2020. The standard, which will come into force on 1 January 2021, replaces both the MC&I(Natural Forest) and MC&I Forest Plantation.v2 standards, as the certification standard for sustainable forest management of natural forest and forest plantation under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS).
