PEFC Council has issued a guidance on auditing PEFC certified companies affected by travel and medical restrictions due to the outbreak of COVID-19. MTCC urges all certification bodies under the MTCS to follow the guidance if such restrictions are also imposed in Malaysia.
Please find attached herewith the guidance document for more detailed procedures for the application of this guidance, as well as specific rules for initial and re-certification audits, surveillance audits and verification of corrective actions. This guidance enters into force on 10 March 2020 and is applicable until PEFC Council revokes the guidance.
