In collaboration with the Forestry Department Peninsular Malaysia (FDPM), MTCC organised a three-day enhancement course to further enhance the understanding of forestry officers from the various state forestry departments on the implementation and requirements of forest management certification under the MTCS.
A total of 33 officers from FDPM headquarters and the state forestry departments of Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Selangor and Terengganu participated in the course. The course also included a field segment which was conducted at the Sungai Durian Forest Reserve in Kelantan.
