Compilation of Comments and Feedback Received on MTCS GD 1002:2023

Dear Stakeholders,

The comments and feedback received from the Public Consultation on MTCS GD 1002:2023 Guidelines on Application of Requirements for Non-Timber Forest Products Certification in MTCS ST 1002:2021 Malaysian Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Forest Management under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme held from 27 January to 26 February 2023 (30-days) have been consolidated by MTCC. The draft MTCS GD 1002:2023 with comments and feedback will be tabled for approval by the MTCC Board of Trustees on 4 September 2023. The compilation of comments and feedback received can be downloaded here.

A total of 44 comments from five persons and organisations were received during the 30-day public consultation. The five are Mr Chew Lye Teng, Mr Harnarinder Singh, WWF-Malaysia, Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) and Jaya Tiasa Holdings Bhd.
