CHAIN OF CUSTODY
Chain of Custody certification provides independent verified assurance
that the material contained in a product originates from sustainably managed forests.
Tracking is carried out along the supply chain, from sustainable sources to the final product,
which requires all companies along the supply chain to be certified.
With the endorsement under the PEFC, chain of custody certificates holders under the MTCS
are mutually recognised by other PEFC endorsed schemes worldwide
which comprises manufacturers, traders or sellers of forest and tree based products.
