Approved by the MTCC Board of Trustees on 4 September 2023, this guideline is one of the aspirations of the MTCC Strategy 2020-2025 to include non-timber forest products (NTFP) in the scope of certification. The draft of this document was subjected to a 30-day public consultation period from 27 January to 26 February 2023 through Google Docs. A total of 44 comments and feedback were received during the public consultation period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Guidelines on the Application of Requirements for the Certification of Non-Timber Forest Products in MTCS ST 1002:2021 Malaysian Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Forest Management is to be included within the scope of certification under MTCS.
