Partners and initiators of the Timber Pavilion namely Assink Wood, Scantimber / Hasslacher, PEFC quality mark, Trade Journal Houtwereld, IEB, Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC), Malaysian Timber Council (MTC) and through the support of 85 companies and organisations, bags the inaugural “Outstanding Award” at the 2019 Bouwbeurs Construction Fair.
The Timber Pavilion was judged to be the most attractive stand that brought the most visitors at the Construction Fair. The collaborative effort also matches the theme of the Fair: “Time to join forces”.
The Timber Pavilion which promotes the use of wood in construction was a huge success. The Third Edition of the Construction Fair was bigger this year with 200 square meters complete with a tower located at the entrance. The Fair attracted more than 75,000 visitors comprising largely contractors, directors and business owners.
The 2019 Bouwbeurs Construction Fair was held from 4 – 8 February 2019 at Utrecht, Netherlands.
