The Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC) is a leading organisation championing sustainable forest management practices. We seek a passionate and strategic Executive Communication and Digital Marketing to join our mission.
In this dynamic role, you will play a key role in developing MTCC’s brand narrative and amplifying our impact. You will be responsible for all aspects of our online marketing operations. Your goal is to help grow the visibility of MTCC and MTCS’s brand, including planning, implementing, and monitoring our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks.
Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in communication, art direction and social media management.

13 | Responsibilities | 1. Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms. 2. Curate engaging and innovative content (infographics, campaign calendar, posters, videos, articles) for social media and the company website. 3. Work with other units to generate new ideas, strategies, and social media timelines that coincide with upcoming campaigns, events, announcements, outreach programmes, and brand messages. 4. Create social media communication plans for new website content updates and events, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing materials (website, social media posts, etc.). 5. Drive traffic and engagement to the company website and social media platforms. 6. Maintain and update the company website to ensure it is accurate, informative, and user-friendly, and attend to general enquiries or comments. 7. Optimise website content for search engines (SEO) to improve website traffic. 8. Analyse social media analytics reports and share insights with the team to optimise future campaigns. 9. Manage outreach with third-party spokespersons (e.g. industry experts). Plan and implement pre-recorded or live webinars, virtual forums, trainings, and social media campaigns. 10. Monitor other parties’ activity within the social media landscape and develop reports on their strategies. 11. Optimise advertising budgets to ensure cost-effective campaigns with maximum impact. 12. Stay up-to-date on social media and web development trends and best practices. 13. Conduct and analyse daily media monitoring on local and international news. 14.
